     I’ve worked with Diageo since 2010, starting as a Brewer before moving across to the Sales arena via Customer Marketing. I’ve been based in Ireland, Ghana, Nigeria, Mozambique, and London. I recently returned to Ireland to set up a team dedicated to promoting premium and luxury spirits for Diageo across the Island of Ireland. My main focus brands include Ketel One vodka, Tanqueray No. TEN gin, Roe & Co. Irish whiskey, Bulleit Bourbon, Ciroc vodka, Ron Zacapa rum, Don Julio tequila and our Classic Malts. Collectively they are known as our Reserve Portfolio.

    Presentation Title: Innovating to meet the consumer’s needs – a supplier’s perspective

     

    Synopsis: Established mass trends such as low cost airfare, widespread usage of smart phones, and social media engagement have led to a much more informed consumer. They are now willing to invest more in great experiences, but equally are less willing to tolerate a poor return on investment. Brand loyalty is more and more a thing of the past, and to grow all businesses offering consumers services/products need to have a laser sharp focus on providing an offer that continues to meet the expectations of today’s more demanding buyer, especially in the hospitality sector.
